    mercredi 8 mai 2019
    • Montreal, May 8, 2019 – The Disciplinary Council of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec rendered its decision on guilt and sanction in the case of Yves Fallu, who has been ordered to pay a total of $20,000 in fines.
    • Mr. Fallu was found guilty of violating two sections of the Code of Ethics of Engineers for participating in a contract sharing scheme designed to circumvent the competitive bidding process of the City of Laval. Mr. Fallu’s offences occurred between 2007 and 2009, while he was president of Équation Groupe Conseil.

The full version of the Disciplinary Council’s decision , including the summary of charges, is available on the OIQ’s Web site. In its decision, the Disciplinary Council also ordered Mr. Fallu to pay all costs in connection with the processing of the complaint.

As a reminder, the sanctions imposed by the Disciplinary Council are meant to protect the public by dissuading professionals from repeating offences and by setting an example for other members of the profession.
